The more shades the more shiny you get.

I hate to play the critic but this is quite poor in my opinion.

Your making a sphere, however, there are squared corners on your circle.
Also the shading is not smooth. It really is very scattered and has nearly two light sources.

However your right on with the number of shades you used. Most people rather use too many or too little.

Try to take tut's on spheres and then try again. Remember that a single light source with symmetric shading will give you the best results.
